The digital campaign was based around the safari experience, Osteria receives many tourists and the website was to give the feeling of being an olden day explorer who is travelling through a wild Nairobi but finds an oasis in Osteria.
The safari theme is used heavily in the design for the website with lots of wildlife featured extensively. The site was to be driven by stunning visuals of scenery and wildlife. The explorer idea comes through with the compass and old letters littered throughout.
It plays with the idea that you are looking at the site through a first person perspective. The perspective of the user, the explorer. It’s as if you are sitting at a table looking through a window at the wildlife ahead.
